Some new stuff 09/16/2010
I just posted up some new stuff. I adjusted the First Atelyr tid-bit I wrote last month. Steve said I had some stuff wrong so I fixed it. I also posted up a few things that are not Mydial related. Both I have sent to WotC and received no feedback from so I'm going to post them up here. All rights remain with me. Please do not distribute them further besides to use them in your own games. One is an adventure that I wrote. It's really simple. Really my first fully published and wrote out adventure. It's about ants. : P The other is a special class path for druids. I think that 4e druids are kinda dumb so far... so I tried writing something that I thought would make them cooler. Check it out. It's dragon-themed. ^_^ I can't believe wizards didn't think it was cool... I think it's AWESOME! -L.E. 1 Comment The First Atelyr 08/16/2010
I just finished writing a tid bit about the First Atelyr. It's located under "the dragon legion" tab. Enjoy! -L.E. I just uploaded the most recent version of the character creation guide in the "Materials downloads" section. enjoy! -L.E. Version 1.0 has been uploaded 08/02/2010
I just uploaded version 1.0 of "How to Create your Character in Mydial" to the Material Downloads page. Feel free to check it out. Obviously, I still have quite a ways to go still. -L.E. Major Updates coming soon 07/26/2010
We haven't forgotten about this site. Quite the contrary actually. I have a major update in the works. An entire .pdf file guiding you step by step through creating your dragon character. This guide will include reformatted... , well, pretty much everything. I've readjusted things I didn't feel worked well and created rules for creating your dragon from scratch. We've had to come up with some new rules... For instance, since Dragons don't wear armor or magic items, we had to implement the inherant bonus system addressed in DMG2 (I think...) Anyway, I'm in the process of making a TON more powers... I need powers for level 11 through level 29. That's a lot of powers! : ) Maybe I'll post a draft version when I get home. I'll try to remember. It's exciting! and will finally make this campaign completely playable. At least until we change more stuff. : ) We're also getting ready to start out home campaign. As soon as Steve gets done working at his summer camp, we're going to get it going. Pretty exciting. We already have players, however, so curb your enthusasm a little and start your own group. : D -L.E. Dragon Character Sheet 06/09/2010
Well, I whipped up a Dragon character sheet by opening up the character building and generating a blank character sheet. I arranged it a little differently with lots of spots to write out your attacks and lots and lots of space for feats and what not. Since dragons get lots of feats. I couldn't get it to make more encounter power spots. So after a few levels you'll have to write them some where else. I uploaded it in a .pdf format in the "Material Downloads" tab. -L.E. The Final Piece 06/09/2010
Just posted the final piece to be able to make your dragons. The leveling advancement chart. It should look familiar. I shamelessly copied the one in PHB1. I hope you all can create dragons now. I'm starting a "how to create your characters" pamphlet for my perspective players. I have a couple in mind. : ) I hope they will be as excited to play as I am! I'll post my pamphlet up so you guys can see/use it. Probably much later... -L.E. The Traditional Bonding Ceremony 06/09/2010
Added a description of the Bonding Ceremony and the sequence of events during and after under the tab "The Dragon Legion". Enjoy! Working, working, working 06/02/2010
Well, there is still stuff in the works. We're trying to come up with a viable 1st level adventure concept and having some trouble. Do any of you have any good ideas for worthy adventures for newly bonded pairs? I'm also working on a description of the traditional bonding ceremony. It's turning out a little too much like P.E.R.N's impressing ceremony so I'm trying to be a little more original, lol. Hopefully I will have it finished soon. I also started a list of suggested websites related to DnD. Enjoy! Updates to come! -L.E. Some Changes are in Order 05/21/2010
There are going to be some changes here pretty soon. We realized (how we missed it, I really don't know) that the DMG1 already has flight rules in it. In keeping with the desire to change as little of the already established rules as possible, we're going to use those flight rules instead of the ones we wrote previously. However, the DMG1 does not specify the effects of the various status conditions that can be inflicted (not all of them at least) and how they affect flying creatures. Those rules that we made will stay. Also, we will continue to use the separate ground level and soaring level rules we created. With so much flight ability in this campaign setting, it is just less confusing to keep the flighted fight at one elevation. As usual, this might change at some point. In short, adjustments will be made. -L.E. |
